Artist's Comments
Hi there,
Here is a commission of the AWESOME game (that i've never played xD) but I've seen it, and it looks amazing. As you can see, I've posted all the steps: 1) 4 layouts, finally the first was chosen 2) the sketch with 2H pencil in a A4 sheet 3) the clean lines with a 0,5 mechpencil with 2H leads in a blueline Pro comic board. OK! I don't think there is any more details to highlight. RAP! CommentsWow! I don't have the game but I feel like I just played it after looking at this great piece!
-- <<-+-<[MythArcana]>-+->> well it took a while, because I had to change some things, The face of the main character in fact.
But I did it in separate days, first day the layouts, then when chosen, half day for the sketch and the other half day for the final lines, and the third day I finished it. It took a while actually. -- iF DRawiNG iS aN AdDicTiON, ConsidEr Me YouR PuSher. AWESOME
Would love to get the hi res of this. I ll send you a wip of the other piece soon. Its not done yet but will be soon -Nic -- BoOoM BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [link] |

Critiques
As always you've managed to impress us all with your intense representation of perspective and bold line work. Your art is always very dramatic feeling and I feel as though you're attempting to give the viewers a rush of epic visual pleasure with your angular line work and intricate details. I must say, you succeed in those regards.
This is a critique, so I feel as though I should choose some things I feel could be worked on[It's intimidating to pick something because you're quite skilled in what you do.]
I'd say if there's anything I'd like to see, it would be more textures, which I feel would complement your already great contrasts. Another thing would be the terrain around your characters. I think you could've done something to separate them with a little more distinction, perhaps some light shading, or yet again I suggest texture.
As a closing comment, the debris in the air-probably something that wurm has kicked up-could be a little more distinct. Drawn as they are, they might be mistaken as unintentionally debris that your pencil has kicked up.
Great work, Nema.
